What airport should I use? 

• VPS (Destin Fort Walton Beach) is the closest airport. 20 miles, 30-40 min drive
• Panama City Airport is approximately 51.9 miles
• Pensacola Airport is approximately 51.2 miles

Is the area pedestrian friendly? 

• Yes, side walks are plenty and you can walk to Kenny Ds for happy hour appetizers and drinks and to Pompano Joes
• Grand Carribean West is close to Destin Commons (1 mile), Camilles, other walkable places 

What time zone is Destin? 

• Central Time Zone. Make sure you confirm local times when checking in and checking out. 

What does complimentary Beach service at Maravilla include? 

• We have paid for beach service for our guests that is available March-October
• This includes 2 chairs and an umbrella
• You use the service by seeing the attendant at the base of the stairs. Give them the condo # and they will make sure you are set up. 
• Front Row is taken early in the AM. If you want front row, get to the beach early. 
• Additional chairs can be purchased for a fee
• We also have additional chairs in the condo for guest use. 
• The service is paid for by us for the 2 chairs and umbrella but feel free to tip the attendant. 

What do you provide for guests?

• Ashtray for the balcony (No smoking in unit)

What can cause the security deposit not being returned in full? 

• Ruined or stained towels - Most often this is not using provided make up towels or mixing colored items with white towels in laundry
• Ruined bedding
• Property damage by pets (Maravilla) or renters
• Excessive sand
• Smoking in unit or smoking/burn damage

In two years we have not had issues with these items and guests but we get the question frequently so we thought we'd include it.

Can we rent Golf Carts and Bikes? 

• Golf Carts can NOT be parked or ridden on the property at Maravilla (Destin2B)
• Golf Carts CAN be parked and ridden on the property at Grand Carribean West (Blessed in Destin)
• Bikes can be rented for either property when kept in the provided bike racks, see the Trip Resources for rental company. 

Where do we park and do we need passes? 

• Each property has parking and you can park in any spot
• 2311 (Maravilla) requires parking passes which will be in the condo at your arrival. DISPLAY in your car! 
• Grand Carribean West does not have parking passes at this time

Do I need a gate code? 

• Maravilla (2311) does have a gate and you will receive the code prior to your arrival in a welcome email. 
  
• Grand Carribean West does NOT have a gate needing a code

Can I bring my boat or RV? 

• Maravilla 2311 does NOT allow Boats or RVs parked in the lot. 
  
• Grand Carribean West, you have two parking spots. 

Do you have an elevator?

• Destin 2 B (Maravilla ) YES
  
• Blessed in Destin (Grand Carribean West) NO, there is not an elevator
• Both units are on the 3rd floor

Are pets allowed? 

• Destin2B (Maravilla ) YES with permission by owner
  
• Blessed in Destin (GCW) NO

How far is the walk to the beach? 

• 300 feet if that! 

Is that road busy? 

• There are cars yes, but there are cross walks and no one is going fast. There are no issues crossing at all. 
  

Can I smoke if I rent one of your condos? 

• NO, no smoking of any kind inside at either unit. Keep the door closed. 
  
• You MAY smoke on the balcony with the door closed only at Maravilla. USE the ashtray on the balcony. Damage to furniture will result in extra charges. 
• Grand Caribbean West is a non smoking property and smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area.
